OUT OF THE DARK

We saw wonder in the world. 
As children the smell of warm rain, the comfort of a hug, the colors of a sunset would fill us with curiosity, and awe. 
But somewhere along the way, things to do became more important than things to feel. Passing tests became more important than learning. Getting ahead became more important than personal growth. 
Where is the light we used to feel on our skin? Where are the vibrant colors?
The wonder of life is still ours to experience if we take time to see it, if we listen, if we feel. 
Out of the Dark is Adam's first Album. Seven songs original songs about feeling the beauty of life through the ups and downs, and it's available on all streaming platforms.

DON'T LOOK DOWN

Hartshorn recorded most of the project in the foothills of the wasatch mountains in Provo, UT working with engineer Gaynor Brunson.  “The sound of this whole EP is inspired by the outdoors”, says Adam. “In Don’t Look Down, I tried to take the auditory version of the mountains around provo and put it into the music” The result in the EP’s title song is an immersive experience with soft crickets droning and birds chirping along to the warm harmonies.
